I gave two stars because she was nice and at least fed the kids and played some. I don’t know how she had 5 stars because she hardly interacted or talked to the kids during the 1 1/2 hours I was home before leaving. I felt so bad leaving because my daughter was crying when we left mainly because she didn’t know what to do because this lady wasn’t talking or interacting with her. I have had 4 sitters so far from this app and this was the first one my daughter cried with. I came home and it was like when I left— quiet. My kids were playing on the bed and the lady was sitting on the toy box not interacting with them. She was on her phone but was just there to literally watch my kids— not actually play with them or make them have fun. She also didn’t send me one picture like I requested for the job and I had to reach out to her to see how the kids were. For $21/hr and 5 star reviews, I expected someone more kid friendly! She would be better dog sitting to make extra cash in my opinion.

Claire was great with my two children. She kept them entertained with minimal screen time as requested and washed dishes without being asked.

Although she didn’t say anything to me when I got home, Claire claimed my dog bit her and is now trying to get me to pay hospital bills. Her mom called me an hour after the job was completed (her mom!! Not the babysitter who is 25 years old). She sent me pictures of her “wound” and I can assure you it did not require antibiotics or even a visit to the doctor. She has called the police and animal control.
