Hi, I’m Nia (similar to Mia, but with a N). I am confident, energetic, and fun. My passion is watching and teaching kids about the fantastic world around us. I am flexible and I work to accommodate the needs of each individual family. I pride myself in having transparent communication with the family I am working with, in order to give peace of mind and to lessen stress. I currently teach a 1y.o. class and infant aftercare class at a local episcopal school. I am certified in CPR/AED for both adults and children. I also possess an early childhood certification. I was a part-time Spanish and Biology tutor during my first two years of college. I was in the National Guard for two years but was medically discharged due to an injury. I enjoy videogames, working out, playing my guitar, and watching sports. Currently, I work as a veterinary technician.

Hello families! Im a 22 year old Loyola alumna. I am currently an intern but during my free time I love learning how to cook and watching old movies. I have been working with children since I was 14. I have worked with ages 3-12 at camps (dance and recreational) as well as a day care. I also have experience with as young as 18 months. I adore the bond I have created with each child and hope to build more soon !

I became a caregiver because I love kids and enjoy caring for them as if they were my own. I have been taking care of children for as long as I can remember. We always had our family friend’s kids and babies stay at our house to babysit at a very young age, so that’s where my love of caring for little ones came to play!
