I’m a 23 year old college grad with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I currently work in mental health, but I’m looking to make a career change. I love children, having grew up being the oldest of my four siblings. I currently work with young adults at my job, but have experience with young children. I was a childcare worker for my 8 year old brother when he was a toddler. I’m planning to get my CPR and First Aid training soon.

I have been involved in childcare for many years now, from having 6 younger cousins (min. of 6 years younger than me) and a baby brother who is 14 years younger than me, to babysitting for families through high school and college and working in an after-school care program. I have been working in sports since I graduated college in 2021 and that also involves a lot of interaction with different types of people and lots of children. I just got married and am looking for a bit of a change of pace, and have always loved being around children. I am also CPR and AED certified. I take childcare very seriously and am very trustworthy and responsible, as I know how it feels to put your trust into someone regarding your kiddos (because I'm basically like a second mom to my younger brother).

During that time, I played games with the kids, kept them entertained and made sure the space was clean and organized. I truly enjoyed working with children and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.
