I moved to NYC in 2017 in pursuit of degree in Studio Arts and a career in education. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Arts with a minor in Education from Hunter College in 2022. I began working for Bright Horizons of NYU Langone in 2019 as a Teacher Assistant. I grew through the industry professionally to my current role as Assistant Director at Primrose School of Manhattan. One of my most memorable working experiences was with a family where I was looking after a two year old. The family had just moved from Ukraine and wanted me to help their child with learning English as well as with helping around the house and looking after them. It was so enjoyable and encouraging to see him grow with each time I was over. I utilized toys like counting blocks, books, and a toy cash register to learn new words and concepts like counting.
