Hi parents/guardians! I’m a rising senior in Samford’s elementary education program and I have loads of experience with ages infant-8 years. I’ve been babysitting for my family since I was around 7 and have been babysitting for others since high school. I’ve worked as a teacher in a preschool with babies to 3 years old and I nannied during the week for 2 8 year old girls. I’m great with making meals, games, school, and cleaning. I’m happy to do housework as well while I’m there. I love animals and am super comfortable around pretty much all types.

Hi! My name is Lily and I am currently enrolled to be a Ballet Pedagogy major at the University of Hartford. My babysitting experience includes babysitting for a family with four children for around three years, ages six, four, and two. I took a trip to Florida as a nanny for this family. I also babysat for a family of four girls, ages seven, five, three, and one, for date nights and such for three years. After this I babysat for a family with two children, ages two and 10 months, for around a year. During all babysitting jobs I enjoy playing outside with kids, reading stories to them, playing games, encouraging imagination, and doing arts and crafts. Additionally, if there is extra time or during nap time I will clean/tidy up, do the dishes, and organize as requested. My main focus is always engaging with kids, so that we can have a fun time while being safe. I am additionally CPR and First Aid certified by the American Heart Association. Some of my hobbies are hanging out with friends, being outside/hiking, trying new coffee shops, watercolor painting, being with my sheepadoodle, cooking and baking, and lately, swing dancing!

Hi! I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Mississippi. I’m looking for work to help pay for my tuition. I’ve been a babysitter since I was 13 and before that I volunteered as a mommy’s helper. To gain experience and because I love kids, I would go over to the family’s home while the parents were there and play with the kids. This allowed the parents to get things done around the house. While I was living overseas for six years, I babysat for countless families on weekends, after school, and during school breaks. I’ve babysat for newborns, toddlers, as well as, kids in grade school. I like being active with the kids while I babysit, not just letting them play on their electronics. I believe the key to babysitting is for the kids to feel seen and heard. I don’t think they should view the time we spend together as me doing a job but rather me genuinely wanting to spend time with them. I also highly value meeting the parents before I meet the kids. If you would like to meet before please send me a message!
