Hi there! I’m Hope. I am a graduate from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I am also a certified K-12 art teacher! 🎨 I am originally from Nashville, but relocated to Chattanooga for college. I am back in Nashville working at Cheekwood as a school educator. I have 8 years of experience babysitting and a year of assistant teaching experience through my residency program (ages K-12). I believe in creative play, nurturing children’s social-emotional needs, and learning about the personality of the family and children so that I can meet the family’s needs as a childcare provider. I can provide childcare references if requested. I’m a very upbeat person, and many say I bring a very positive energy to the room. Hello! I am a first year doctor of physical therapy student at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. I have experience babysitting during my undergraduate studies at the University of South Alabama, and I have experience working for Grace Community Daycare in Birmingham, Alabama. I’ve volunteered in my church’s nursery and children’s ministry. I have also worked as a teacher for St. Paul’s Summer Saints day camp in Mobile, Alabama. Ultimately, I’d like to become a pediatric physical therapist for children with disabilities and injuries. I also have 3 dogs of my own, so I can provide pet care that may be needed for furry friends in the house!
