I truly love kids! I am the oldest of 5 siblings and 11 grandchildren, so babysitting has always been a part of my routine! I've known from a young age I wanted to help children with disabilities, so I studied to become a speech pathologist to give those kiddos a voice! I have experience in clinic and out with children of all ages and needs, extensively with children with ASD! Because of my job, I am required to be CPR certified and up to date on all vaccines. I know basic sign language and have experience with alternative communication means such as with a device or picture exchange. I also have experience teaching dance, cello and basic piano. I have tutored in most subjects and am trained in the Science of Reading literacy approach as part of my schooling. I have studied the SOS approach to conduct feeding therapy, which can help make meal time fun for picky eaters! I have previous experience as a Behavioral Therapist for children with autism where I provided one-on-one support to children between the ages of 2 and 7.
