I have four years of experience working with little ones birth through age three! Mydegree is in Birth-Kindergarten Development. I graduate this December! In my degree plan, and my career, I learn how children develop from all facets beginning at birth to age 5. Those aspects are: Cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and language development. Based on evidence I see, using the Reggio Emilia teaching approach (similar to Montessori but has more focus on emotional well being and social skills), I plan experiences and practice interactions in specific ways that will encourage healthy growth. There's truly nothing more special than bonding with a little one and helping them grow to their full potential! I'd love to discuss more and provide you with reference letters and a list of descriptions of my ECE related courses!

Hello! I have been a babysitter since I was able to take of my two younger siblings and ran a small babysitting service for family friends in middle school. More recently, I have worked as a camp counselor at Camp Miniwanca in Michigan for the last 3 years. Through this camp, I received my wilderness first responder and EPI pen certifications through over 70 hours of training. At Miniwanca I worked with kids between the ages of 8 and 18 teaching the motto βmy own self at my very best all the timeβ. I also lead a 5-day hiking/canoeing on the Manistee River Trail and a 10-day canoeing trip down the Mississippi River in Minnesota and Wisconsin. All this to say, think of any wacky scenario and I have probably handled something similar and am ready to have some fun, safe adventures with your kid!

My absolute favorite summer hobby is wakeboarding! I grew playing football my whole life! Im a huge Disney movie fan I am constantly catching up on starwars and marvel my favorite 2 series! Iβve grown to enjoy studying on my free time when Iβm not in class or not hanging out with my friends and my dream is to one day be a nurse. Freshman and sophomore year I spent significant time in the hospital with a life treating disease and it helped me gain a growing passion to become a nurse like the ones who helped me! I grew up in Birmingham Alabama but have moved around twice with my parents. I have 3 siblings (all older), a brother, and 2 sisters! Hereβs a short article thatβs very important to me!https://www.hollandsentinel.com/story/sports/2022/08/23/zeeland-east-senior-tackled-life-threatening-illness-shattered-ankle-to-get-back-on-the-field/10340203002/

Hello, Wyndy family members! My name is Daniel M and I am beyond thrilled to be your sitter - I cannot wait to begin supporting you! I was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but lived in Fayetteville, Arkansas before moving here to Tulsa in 2019. While living in Fayetteville, I attended the University of Arkansas and graduated with majors in Political Science, Criminal Justice, Sociology, and African and African-American Studies. Yes, that is four (4) majors β no minors β but it was five (5) before I dropped Spanish! Since I was a teenager, I have always enjoyed working with children. I have always had a passion for both education and children, but never once imagined that Iβd become a teacher in any capacity. When I was 13, I served on an advisory board partnered with the University of Pennsylvania and taught lesson plans over healthy eating habits, amongst other skills, to younger children. Years later, I was the assistant director for the childrenβs section of my church in Arkansas. In college, I continued with my love for teaching as a tutor and learning assistant for student-athletes. After thinking about all of these experiences and others, as well as the impact I was able to make, I decided to commit to a career in education and began my first year of teaching in a classroom at College Bound Academy Charter School. While there, I taught English Language Arts and was able to develop my skills working with students with learning and academic disabilities. I am excited to meet and work with you soon!
