I have four years of experience working with little ones birth through age three! Mydegree is in Birth-Kindergarten Development. I graduate this December! In my degree plan, and my career, I learn how children develop from all facets beginning at birth to age 5. Those aspects are: Cognitive, physical, social/emotional, and language development. Based on evidence I see, using the Reggio Emilia teaching approach (similar to Montessori but has more focus on emotional well being and social skills), I plan experiences and practice interactions in specific ways that will encourage healthy growth.
