Hello! My name is Michaela, I am a student at the University of Alabama, and I’m originally from Houston, Texas. I grew up being the second oldest of 17 grandkids, so to say I have experience with children might be a bit of an understatement, haha! I am studying to become a nurse, and want to pursue a doctoral degree so that I can specialize in acute pediatric care. Working with kids is something I have always loved to do, and obviously something I want to continue doing. I started babysitting in my family at the age of 10, and over the years became a community sitter for my neighbors and fellow church families and served as a volunteer at summer camps and in my church’s children’s ministry.
