Hello! My name is Kieumy H and I’m a Psychology student at University of Washington. During the school year, I work as a support teacher for ages 0-5 at Hutch Kids Early Learning Center. For two years in high school, I taught gymnastics at SPORT Gymnastics to ages 2-13. I have also taken a variety of childcare related coursework over the last three years including Child Development 1, Child Development 2, Children’s Health, and Early Childhood Education and Family Studies. In 2023, I accumulated 20 hours shadowing occupational therapists, much of that time spent in pediatrics. I have certifications in Early Childhood Education, CPR/First Aid, Food Handling, Abusive Head Trauma, Safe Sleep, Bloodeborne Pathogens, 30 Hours Childcare Training, Disaster and Emergency Preparedness, Medication Management, and Families Experiencing Homelessness.

Hi my name is Lydia! Here’s a little bit about my background experience 😊.I started working official paid childcare jobs when I was 17. My first official job was as a swim teacher for ages 6months - 12 years and I continued that job for 4 years. During Covid the swim school closed and so I began nannying for a family and their 4 year old daughter. After that I began in a preschool setting for two years. I also have two younger siblings ages 4 and 7 who I have helped with frequently throughout their lives, including the newborn stage.
