My name is makayla and i am a full time college student. My major is psychology and my career goal is to become a therapist for adolescents. I grew up with seven other siblings; and with me being the oldest i know a thing or two that it takes a village to raise a child. My passions are music and connecting with nature. Having a passion of caring for babies and young children ever since young, I have extended that passion through education becoming a certified postpartum doula. With years of newborn, infant and young childcare under my belt, I have had the pleasure of caring for newborns, infants, and young children with a variety of needs. The needs include colic, premature care, circumcision care, visual impairment and more. Providing quality and compassionate care for mothers, newborns, infants, toddlers and young children is my number priority. In the midst of my journey of newborn, infant, toddler and childcare care, I became aware of the care and attention that is needed towards women. The ability to create a safe space for them in many ways built up my courage to dive deeper into caregiving
