Hello, Iβm a 21 year old college nursing student looking to continue to gain experience in working with children to aid in my aspirations of becoming a NICU nurse and midwife. Through being an older sister of three, I quickly learned that I have a natural desire for nurturing children which led me to being a sitter/nanny in high school and college. I also furthered my interest in creating a safe environment for children and young adults to grow through becoming a resident assistant in my dorm hall.

Hello! I self-started babysitting around four years ago. Originally it was just a small job for the summer, but I quickly learned just how much I love childcare. I love providing children with someone they can confide in and feel safe around. Just overall be the person I needed when I was young. I spend the majority of my time either working as a server at Cracker Barrel or focusing on my art practice. I hope to eventually pursue a career in either Illustration or Graphic Design!

As a passionate and experienced childcare provider with six years of experience, I find immense joy in nurturing and supporting children's growth and development. My journey into childcare began with fulfilling babysitting roles, where I discovered my natural ability to connect with children and make a positive impact on their lives. My patient and calm demeanor, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to create a nurturing and engaging environment for children. I believe in open and honest communication with parents, ensuring that they are regularly updated about their child's day and any issues that arise. I follow their preferred communication method, whether it be verbal updates at pickup or regular text messages or phone calls. Enforcing household rules comes naturally to me, and I do so with a gentle and consistent approach.

A little about me! I graduated from UA with a bachelorβs degree in human development and I currently am in grad school for my MBA. Post graduation, I worked at a preschool for 1.5 years in the 2-3 year old classroom as a lead teacher. Throughout college, I nannied for a set of 2 year old twins for 2 years before they went to pre-k. I currently nanny for a sweet 2 year old boy, but he will be starting pre-k at the beginning of August. As a nanny, I value engaging play at a developmentally appropriate level, being outdoors when possible, and being creative!
