Hello, my name is Luci! Since high school, I have cared for many children on an occasional basis and enjoyed every second. During the past 5 years, I worked for three families with young children ranging from 6 months old to 6 years old. I also spent one summer nannying an 8 year old girl. However, my love for babysitting has blossomed over the last year while nannying a 4 year old boy, especially being able to see him grow through his first year in pre-school. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UAB, I am very aware of the positive impact a secure and nurturing environment can have on children. As such, I am committed to providing exciting, safe, and supportive experiences to any child I care for, even if only for a couple hours! I grew up in a big family (I have a set of triplet sisters and a brother and sister who are twins) and I have always had a passion to work with children that’s why I want to become an elementary school teacher or a special education teacher. I have babysat for my sister a lot who has a 6 year old, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old, so I am comfortable handling multiple kids at a time. I have done many babysitting jobs in my hometown, and would like to do more here at school. I have church daycare experience and have worked VBS.
