About Laura
I graduated from Sweet Briar College in 2023 with my BA in Math and English and Creative Writing. I love working with kids and have experience working with kids from ages 16 months to 18 years old. I am experienced changing diapers and working on potty training with younger kids. I also have experience working with kids with disabilities and who are neurodivergent. I have worked with kids in lots of different context. I have worked as a tutor, substitute teacher, PALS instructor, babysitter, childcare worker at a Montessori school, and a children's church teacher. I also have worked at a public library for almost a decade and love to help kids find books to read. I love doing art, reading, writing, and going outdoors. I have a cat and love having animals around the house as I grew up with a lot of pets.
