Hello, My name is Amina L. I’m a college student and a single mom to a one-year-old boy named Amaris. After resigning from my job as a correctional officer, I decided to get back into babysitting. I wanted to avoid bringing home the negativity of that environment to my son. I’m still passionate about law enforcement, so I’m currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and preparing to start the police academy with the Nashville Police Department. While I wait, I’m spending a lot of quality time with my son when he’s not with his father in Memphis, TN. I have a natural connection with kids, especially as I’m learning to be a mom myself. I’m CPR certified, and I’ve always been around children—my sisters all have kids, one of whom is autistic. I’m confident in my ability to teach, bond, and stick to an organized schedule. I would be a great sitter or nanny for your wonderful children.
