About Mya

I have been babysitting for 6 years. I have experience with a broad range of development, including autism. I have been responsible for meals, nap time, baths, school work, and bedtime rituals. I have facilitated pick up and drop off of extracurricular activities. Most notably I have managed an evening of activities for three siblings! I have spent several summers lifeguarding, which I loved because it was just like babysitting. While in high school I swam on a club swim team. Three times a week I volunteered to teach elementary aged children how to swim competitive swim strokes. I also did one on one coaching with swimmers who needed extra help. Other things to know about me: I have lived in the Nashville area for 4 years, after my dad retired from 20 years in the Navy. I am getting married in May this year! I love pets! I am the eldest of three. With an age gap of 8 years with my little sister, I’ve been a built in babysitter for my family.
