About Mary Alden

Hi my name is Mary A! I’m from Mobile, AL and went to Ole Miss for undergrad and Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg for grad school. I love kids! While at Ole Miss I was a lifeguard and a swim instructor. I’ve taught swim lessons almost every summer. While in college I was a camp counselor at Camp Greystone (all girls Christian summer camp) and loved it so much I went back for another summer! I love babysitting and helping out with kids. I was a nanny for 2 wonderful families during my 4 years in Oxford. ☺️ Can’t wait to meet y’all!

Off-Campus Involvement
UAB Civitan-Sparks Clinic Audiology intern. I’m in Birmingham this year for my internship! I have been a camp counselor at the all girls camp Greystone in NC and I am currently at a pediatric placement for testing kids hearing.
On-Campus Activity
Lifeguard and swim instructor while I was at Ole Miss! Also, babysat consistently for two families in Oxford., Attended RUF (reformed university fellowship) , Taught Swim lessons last summer in Hattiesburg, MS, While at Ole Miss I was part of Masters swim club team (love to swim!) and also played volleyball whenever I could!, During my time at Ole Miss I was also part of Hand Band where we would use sign the national anthem before football games in ASL on the field! , Was a tutor for the program leap frog while at Ole Miss!

Mary Alden did such a great job making the kids feel comfortable and having fun! She handled my three kids, including a newborn, with ease and we will definitely use her again!
