About Erin

I was a Montessori assistant teacher from 2014-2020, and a private nanny for the last four years. I have experience caring for children from ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. I adore all children and love engaging them in stimulating work and play that focuses on developing their independence and confidence. I am AMI certified, an extremely hard worker and an overall outstanding childcare professional. Maria Montessori firmly believed that if peace on Earth were ever to prevail it would have to start with the children. And to start with children means starting with the individual child. Creating and facilitating age-appropriate activities, materials, and environments where the child flourishes creates independence and establishes everlasting self-confidence. The child who is treated like a valued and respected being by their adults learns to respect and value their own self. And the well-adjusted, self-assured child grows up to be an adult, healthy and peaceful in mind, body and soul, who respects and values others. That is why I passionately love working with children.
