About Whitney

I have experience leading and working with children of all ages, from newborns to 16 years of age. I have worked as a professional nanny, lead and assistant preschool teacher, Montessori, lead teacher, and have a two year toddler, and a 8 month baby of my own . I also worked with children with autism, ADHD, and other disabilities. My son was born with a disability, so autism advocacy is something I am very passionate about. I have also been a vacation nanny before. I have experience as a lesson planner, arts and crafts counselor, and much more. I currently have a North Carolina childcare background check as well as taking EDU 119, which allows me to qualify as a preschool teacher. I enjoy hanging with my family, Disney world, creating new and fun activities, reading, and crafting in my free time. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in behavioral science with an emphasis in childhood and adolescent disorders; once I get done, I will be obtaining a master's degree in forensic psychology.
