Hi there! I'm a current senior at UAB, studying genetics and psychology and I am passionate about pursuing genetic counseling. I've been in the babysitting scene for about 6 years now and I've cared for children of all ages and abilities, thanks to my experience as a research assistant at UAB and my time volunteering at the Exceptional Foundation. Now, I'm excited to be a part of the Wyndy community, where I can't wait to create amazing experiences for your little ones!
Education:
College
University of Alabama at Birmingham
Location
Hendersonville, Tennessee
Off-Campus Involvement
I've spent time volunteering at 'The Exceptional Foundation,' a truly special place for extraordinary individuals. It's been an amazing experience that has enriched my understanding of caring for all kids, and I can't wait to bring that warmth and inclusivity to babysitting! I also spend time as a volunteer crisis counselor on a Crisis Text Line, where I've learned the art of active listening and providing support to those in need. This skill extends beyond the crisis line, making me a compassionate and attentive caregiver for your children.
On-Campus Activity
I’m a Research Assistant at the UAB Youth Development Lab, where I learn about the growth and interact with young minds. This roles has given me invaluable insights into child development., I also serve as the President of the Student Association of Genetic Counseling at UAB. My leadership experience in this role has taught me valuable skills in communication and understanding different needs - both of which are incredibly important when it comes to caring for children.
