Hi! My name is Melanie and I’m a college student currently studying child education and development. I grew up as a sister of 6 and being the middle child meant I usually had to take care of my younger siblings. I’ve worked a lot of different jobs such as coaching and as a camp leader, I’m CPR certified, and I look forward to being able to help parents out!

I am a NY certified teaching assistant. I have 5+ years experience working in a childcare/ preschool setting within the school district of Pacific Grove, CA. I primarily worked with infants suffering toddlers, but also worked with grade school students with special needs.I have been working on earning a BA in Early Childhood Education and have completed 60 units of ECE courses. I am CPR certified and have knowledge of basic first aid skills. I have 3 children of my own, age 11, 16 and 20. My younger girls still live in California right now. They attended a Waldorf School for three grade school years. I was s parent volunteer in their classrooms for many years.My first job, at 11, was babysitting 3 children, age 2,4, and 6. I have provided childcare to many families over the years. I also have experience in retail management and as z personal assistant.

In August of 2023 I retired from teaching and became a nanny to a 7 month old and two year old. I started with the family in August 2023 and still nanny for them now but mom is about to go on maternity leave with a 3rd child and they will no longer need outside help in the home. I’m interested in being a full or part-time nanny for a baby! I live on Wilmington Island and have loved swimming, going for walks, reading, singing and ‘cuddle’ dancing with the children I care for now.English is my first language but I’m also fluent in Spanish and taught it professionally for many years, should that be helpful in some way.

Hello my name is Daniella B!My passion working with children and elders began about 4 years ago, I truly enjoy making sure others needs are met and they are happy.I have experience with newborns up to 10 years old.
