Hello, my name is Laila ! I’m a 2023 graduate who’s always been the oldest in my family , and as the oldest I’ve developed the love for working with kids over time. I can say that I’ve been babysittingfor about 6-7 years, professionally 3. I truly do love being around kids, this would be my second summer being a Camp Counselor for kindergarten. I love that I was able to connect with the kids in my classroom and build up that sense of trust not just with them but their parents. Being a counselor and KidCare attendant has taught me a lot by being patient with the child, helping to communicate, and most importantly to have fun. I’ve worked with a variety of ages from 6 months to 12 year olds but have the most experience with 4-5 year olds. I love to be creative and create a safe environment whenever I’m watching kids.
