New Year's Eve Babysitter Needed for Quirky Family

Job Description

Our family of four is looking for a responsible and fun-loving babysitter to watch our two children (ages 5 and 8) on New Year's Eve. We'll be just around the corner at a party, but want to ensure our little ones are in good hands. Our kids are obsessed with their new Lego Minecraft sets and love building elaborate worlds. Fair warning: our cat, Mr. Whiskers, thinks he's a dog and may try to play fetch with you!

We're offering $22 per hour for this special evening. The kids usually go to bed around 9 PM, but we're flexible on New Year's Eve. You're welcome to watch the ball drop on TV and enjoy some sparkling cider we'll leave for you. Don't be surprised if you hear our off-key singing when we return home – we're notorious for impromptu karaoke sessions!

Responsibilities

• • Supervise children's playtime and ensure their safety
• • Prepare a light dinner (mac and cheese is their favorite)
• • Assist with bedtime routine, including reading a story

Qualifications

• • Prior babysitting experience with children aged 5-8
• • CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• • Ability to engage children in creative play and activities
