Event Babysitter at Redeemer Community Church

Job Description

We're a quirky family who loves building Lego castles and playing with our stuffed dinosaur, Rexy! This is a childcare position for an event at Redeemer Community Church near the St Philip's College . You'll be paired with other sitters to care for 8-15 children, ages birth-10. My daughter, Lily, loves to dress up as a princess (often in her sparkly Elsa dress!), while my son, Tom, is obsessed with his firetruck toy! We're looking for a responsible and energetic babysitter to help keep the kids entertained and engaged during the event.

It’s going to be a fun-filled day, so we want a sitter who can roll with the punches. Our motto is: 'Embrace the chaos and find the joy!' The event will include a variety of activities, including games, crafts, and a special appearance by a magician. Our kids love surprises, so a sitter who can be spontaneous is definitely a plus!

Pay is $22/hour.

Responsibilities

• • Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
• • Maintain a safe and positive environment
• • Assist with diaper changes and other childcare needs as required

Qualifications

• • Ability to adapt to unexpected situations
