Weekend Sitter Needed for 2 Energetic Kids in New York area

Job Description

We're looking for a fun, responsible babysitter to help out with our kids, Mia (8) and Oliver (5), on the weekends. Both have great imaginations and love activities like drawing and playing games in the local park. Our family lives in Brooklyn, and we'd appreciate someone familiar with the area or excited to explore it. We're hoping to find someone who can engage with our kids creatively, supporting them in their interests while ensuring their safety. If you're someone who balances responsibility with a playful nature, you're the type we're looking for. We're flexible on timings, but would prefer someone who can be with us Saturday and Sunday afternoons. We’re keen to welcome someone energetic and dedicated.

Responsibilities
• Engage with the children in creative and fun activities.
• Ensure the children’s safety at all times.
• Take kids to the nearby park for outdoor play.
• Assist with preparing simple meals and snacks.
• Tidy play areas post-activities.

Qualifications
• Prior babysitting experience with similar age groups.
• Strong communication skills.
• A positive, energetic, and patient demeanor.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Comfortable with family pets (we have a friendly dog).
