Energetic Babysitter Needed near Hunter College for Afternoons

Job Description

We're looking for a warm-hearted and energetic babysitter to look after our delightful daughter, Ava. She is a bundle of joy at nine years old and loves outdoor adventures and creative arts. Our family is based near Hunter College, and we need someone who can guide her through her after-school activities from 3 PM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday. Our neighborhood offers many opportunities for fun, and we trust you'll make the best of it. We value open communication and someone who can adapt to unexpected situations. We’re eager to welcome someone into our home who can provide both care and encouragement. By the end of each day, you’ll become an important part of our family rhythm, ensuring Ava’s happiness and safety.

Responsibilities
• Pick up from school and supervise playtimes
• Assist with homework and reading activities
• Engage in creative arts and crafts
• Organize outdoor play in the neighborhood park

Qualifications
• Past experience with school-aged children
• Trustworthy with excellent references
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and a sense of humor
• Basic first aid knowledge would be a plus
