Caring Babysitter Needed for Evenings in New York, NY

Job Description

We’re a Brooklyn-based family looking for a trustworthy and warm-hearted babysitter to look after our spirited two kids: Emma, a chatterbox of 5, and Jake, our adventure-seeking 7-year-old. We need someone who can come over three evenings a week (usually Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday) to provide care while we attend events. Our kids love stories, crafts, and their bedtime routines, so someone who shares these interests would be a great fit. We're in need of a caregiver who can seamlessly step in and create a positive and engaging environment for our children in our absence. Responsibilities
• Engage with Emma and Jake through arts and crafts
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Manage bedtime stories and routines
• Maintain a safe and friendly space
• Communicate updates regularly

Qualifications
• Prior experience in babysitting or childcare
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Energetic and enjoys being with children
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
