Enthusiastic Babysitter Needed for Active Kids in New York area

Job Description

Seeking someone energetic and responsible to watch our two lively children, Max and Lily, ages 6 and 8. The kids love adventures, arts and crafts, and playing in Central Park. As we are both busy professionals, we need someone who can engage the children in creative and educational activities after school during weekdays. Our ideal babysitter would also help with meal preparation and light homework assistance. We're looking for someone who can create a nurturing but disciplined environment, ensuring the kids follow their evening routines before we return home. Being available on short notice occasionally would be a bonus. We look forward to welcoming a reliable caregiver into our home who can handle dynamic situations with a smile.

Responsibilities
• Plan and execute engaging activities both indoors and outdoors
• Prepare simple meals and snacks
• Assist with homework and reading time
• Maintain a tidy play area
• Enforce bedtime routines

Qualifications
• At least 2 years of prior babysitting experience
• Preferably CPR and First Aid certified
• Creative and patient with children
• Good communication skills with parents
• Available on weekdays from 3 PM • 7 PM
