Job Description

We are looking for a warm and engaging babysitter to spend time with our two wonderful children, Mia and Oliver, over the weekends. Our family lives in a cozy apartment in New York, NY and our active kids, ages 6 and 4, are always eager to learn and explore. We’d love someone who is enthusiastic about activities like arts, crafts, and imaginative play. The hours will primarily be on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and some evenings. We value kindness and patience as well as someone who embraces the joys of childhood. Knowing your way around the city and its exciting activities would be a bonus. We look forward to finding a sitter who can become an honorary member of our family and enrich Mia and Oliver’s weekends.

Responsibilities
• Engage the children with age-appropriate activities
• Prepare light meals and snacks
• Ensure safety at all times
• Assist with bedtime routine if working late
• Occasionally help with children's laundry

Qualifications
• Previous babysitting experience required
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Must love pets (we have a friendly Labrador)
• Ability to commit to weekends regularly
