Job Description

We're Caroline and Nathan, parents to two delightful siblings: Lily and Andrew. We are looking for a compassionate babysitter for a relaxing Saturday evening in our New York City apartment. The task will be to engage Lily, a curious 9-year-old with a love for arts and crafts, and Andrew, a playful 7-year-old who adores his toy trucks. You’ll have to serve dinner, ensure they brush their teeth, and tuck them in by 8:30 PM. It’s important they feel safe and comfortable, as this will be their first night with a new sitter. To end the evening, remember to leave a little note for us about how the night went—it helps us understand their experience.

Responsibilities
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Prepare and serve dinner
• Oversee bedtime routine with a gentle manner

Qualifications
• Previous experience with children ages 7-10
• Warm and friendly demeanor
• Ability to handle minor emergencies calmly
• Comfortable with pets (we have a small dog)
