About Myh

My name is Myh S and I am a nanny/au pair from Plano, Texas! I am 21 years old and currently attending Collin College as a Liberal Arts Transfer Major. My ethnic background is Ethiopian-Eritrean and I speak my maternal language of Amharic as well as French and some Spanish! I come from a family of five, with two sisters who are 2 and 7 years younger than me, respectively. I love to help take care of my youngest sister while my parents are at work! I also recently spent a year abroad as an au pair in Rennes, France and had an amazing experience with my host parents and host children: three boys aged 4, 8, and 10. I really felt like part of the family and also met many of my best friends in Rennes! In my free time, I love to do yoga (which I do daily), meditate, and spend time outside. I’m also an avid writer: I create poems, short stories, blog posts, and even music! Of course being a writer, I am also a huge reader, and have been ever since I was very young! I love spending time with friends, going to cafes, going on walks, and studying topics that interest me (like psychology, style and color theories, health, and so much more!). My career goals involve becoming a high school language teacher and eventually a counselor! I can’t wait to meet you and your amazing child/children and provide your family with a childcare experience that is exciting, well-rounded, and collaborative!
