Hi! My name is Ava B — I am a Sophomore at The University of Tennessee at Knoxville studying Child and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. I plan to become a Developmental Therapist following my graduation in 2025. I am super passionate for caring for children and seeing them grow up to be their own unique selves! Over the summer I was a part-time nanny for a family in Hardin Valley with a 18 month old and I have been helping this family with their child since she was 8 months old. The bulk of my sitting experience is with infants because I have had so much experience with this child. However, I do work part-time at Sequoyah Elementary School as a counselor for the after school care program. I get to play with K-5 kids every day of the week and I couldn’t say anything negative about my time there! I would rather be hanging with children and playing on the playground any day of the week! I am happy to provide a resume, references, and certifications. I have over 2 years of childcare experience and over 8 years of pet sitting experience (if any families have pets)!
