Hey, my name is Mercedes J. I am from Nashville Tennessee. I came to Memphis for school and I'm a current nursing student at the University of Memphis, I've always had a passion for kids, which motivates my choice of pursuing a career as a pediatric nurse! I have been exposed to children of all backgrounds. I even had the opportunity to work as a peer tutor for a short period of time, for children of special needs, which I absolutely loved ! Outside of school I work as a certified nursing assistant which I work at a nursing home 3 days a week due to school. Outside of all of this I enjoy volunteering around the community, and trying new things with some friends. As a person I am a fun and kind young adult. I do well with all children and ensure that that are comfortable but most importantly SAFE! I will be sure to make sure your kid is in the condition you left them in. I also would want to give the parents an opportunity to breathe and handle business knowing their child is well taken care of. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to reach out.
