Hi! I’m Lizzie, a 24-year-old student and passionate artist with a true happiness for working with children of all ages. I think my friends would describe me as an extremely thoughtful and considerate person. Especially when it involves someone's thoughts, feelings and/or needs during childhood and creating a safe, trusting home for a kid. I am an active listener, and an observant problem solver who is surprisingly quick on her feet in times of unforeseen "situations" that happen in life. With over seven years of experience in childcare, I’ve primarily cared for boys aged 3-12 and girls aged 2-6. I prioritize engaging, interactive play and aim to minimize screen time, fostering a stimulating and nurturing environment. Growing up in the early 2000s, I didn’t have a phone until I was 16, allowing me to explore my creativity through art and participate in extracurricular activities like piano, ballet, gymnastics, softball, and theatre. Currently, I am transitioning in my career and location, which allows me significant flexibility in my availability. I am seeking serious employment and am open to roles that meet your family’s needs. I can accommodate late hours and early mornings to align with your scheduling requirements.
