About Sean

Dear Parents, I grew up in a vibrant family household of eight where I fell in love with life, people, and learning. It was there that I developed a love of wonder, the imagination, and creativity. I’d love to help your children also fall in love with life doing fun activities like baking/cooking, read-aloud, building forts, performing plays, learning lots of outside games, and many other experiences that build your child’s memory and sense of adventure. I want to share my love for creativity, imagination, and wonder with them. Wyndy gives me the opportunity to share my skill as a mentor and teacher with your children and fulfill my mission for deepening a love for the imagination, creativity, and wonder in the hearts of the young people under my care. My various caretaking experiences in home, private, and public school settings have trained me to meet different learning styles and personalities. My experience as an outdoor leadership counselor prepares me to engage readily with children of various age levels and backgrounds. As a plus, I am also able to help older children with their learning. I’d love to help them with their homework or learn a fascinating part of history together. We could dress up in character and re-enact a famous scene like the Crossing of the Delaware. My desire to help form and understand the mind of a child has propelled me to learn, study, and write on Montessori education which I studied in my senior capstone project. As a babysitter, I’d love to create that space where children can thrive, love life, and live it most abundantly. For the younger ones, I’d love to nurture their minds with hands-on crafts, storytelling, and other enriching activities that make them smile, laugh, and delight in life. Babysitting is a partnership with you; it’s a privilege and a gift. The soul of every child is precious and all I wish to do is help it blossom into something beautiful. I look forward to working with you. Best, Sean Callaghan
