About Lexi

Hi! My name is Lexi S - I am a freshman at the University of Georgia studying Music Therapy. I plan to become a Music Therapist following my graduation in 2027. I love caring for children and seeing them thrive and become their own unique selves! Most of my babysitting experience comes from caring for my special needs brother, who has severe autism. He needs assistance and supervision with eating, bathing, with simple movement tasks (getting dressed, tying shoes, brushing teeth), etc. I have some experience caring for kids with Down Syndrome, and other children with autism. After school my senior year of high school, I helped my neighbor with her art class for elementary-age kids and babysat some of them separately too. Over the summers, I have lifeguarded in neighborhoods and been CPR-First Aid-AED certified. I am happy to provide a resume, and references, or answer any questions. I have plenty of experience with 5+, and I am very capable of learning how I can best care for younger children as well! Thank you for your consideration!
