About Lyra
I adore children and have diverse set of experiences offering care and support. I’ve worked as a private tutor for elementary through high school students. I have also worked at a school for children with special needs and volunteered at their summer camp offerings. I’ve raised 3 caring and responsible teenagers and even homeschooled them during a significant part of their elementary education. I have returned to college to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, my primary interest is to work in Pediatrics. You’ll find me to be cheerful, energetic, cleanly, creative, and patient. I’m very comfortable with pets and cooking. My approach with children is to model kindness and creative problem solving. My favorite pastimes with youngsters include reading stories, age appropriate physical activities/sports, crafts, and cooking together.
