About Ava
Hi! My name is Ava, an upcoming sophomore at FSU studying Human Development and Family Studies. I have been passionate about helping children for a long time, and am so grateful for this opportunity! My passion started when I began volunteering for the Children’s Cancer Center in 2018. This opportunity allowed me to watch over kids ages 5-12. These children have been diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders, and they are the strongest kids I know. I’ve been able to create a fun and nurturing environment for them, and have watched them grow up over the years! The CCC has taught me a lot about problem-solving and thinking quick on my feet, especially in my recent internship there. I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully help you out!
