About Emma

Hi, my name is Emma G. I am an 18-year-old college student currently pursuing a degree in Communications, where I am developing strong skills in interpersonal communication and leadership that I apply to my work with children and families. My experience includes both customer service and working closely with children in various settings, which has taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and creating meaningful connections. As a recreational leader I have had the opportunity to design and lead engaging activities that encouraged children to develop new skills while having fun. From hands-on arts and crafts projects to interactive games, I focused on creating experiences that were both educational and enjoyable. My time as a 4-H leader furthered my ability to guide children with patience and help them build important life skills. It is my belief that children should have the freedom to be kids during engaging activities that bring out curiosity and learning. My goal is to make sure kids are always in a safe environment where they feel as though they can be themselves and feel comfortable st all times. I am an owner of 4 cats and two dogs so I am comfortable with animals in the home and have no issues with pet allergies. Although I am also mindful of other children's allergies and other special needs so I will keep safety as a priority at all times. I also have a background in athletics as I was on the swim team for over 8 years. This experience gave me a great knowledge of water safety and the ability to remain calm in aquatic activities. Whether supervising children in the pool or planning water-related activities, I am confident in ensuring their safety while allowing them to enjoy fun and enriching experiences. With a genuine passion for working with children, strong leadership experience, and a commitment to creating safe, fun, and engaging environments, I am dedicated to providing attentive and reliable care for every family I work with.
