About Chandler

My name is Chandler R. I am 25 years old and a 2017 graduate from Hoover High School. I am born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama and reside in Hoover, Alabama. I completed 2 years at Jefferson State Community College before transferring to The University of Alabama at Birmingham Fall of 2019. I'm currently a seventh year senior at UAB majoring in Early Childhood Education. As of right now, I’m in the process of passing the Pearson exam in order to complete my final semester (student teaching) before I graduate. However, in the meantime I’m keeping myself busy babysitting as much as possible. When I was young, I discovered my love for children and that love has become natural as I have spent many years working with children. I'm a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church where I work part time with infants and preschoolers on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. I am also a registered substitute teacher for Hoover City Schools and Hunter Street Weekday Program. Since high school, I've been blessed with numerous families whom I babysit and have become an extension of their family. I have 10+ years of paid babysitting experience with ages 4 weeks to 15 years old. I’m CPR certified and I have experience with multiples, special needs, and traveling with families on vacation. I have reliable transportation and car seats if needed. I enjoy taking kids to the park, McWane Center, library, Birmingham Zoo, pool, Let’s Play, after school activities, and more. The responsibility of caring for your child is of utmost importance and I consider myself a very responsible and trustworthy sitter.
