About Anna

I am from Trussville and currently live in Birmingham and attend school at UAB! I believe that children are amazing and require a person to be compassionate, responsible, empathetic, creative, and fun! My two younger cousins (7 and 12 yr old boys) are my favorite people in the world and though sometimes it is challenging taking care of them it is always rewarding (and I’m still their favorite cousin). Working with kids is so much fun and a responsibility I don’t take lightly. I will do everything I can to accommodate to your family and child and hope to create a lasting relationship.

Off-Campus Involvement

I played soccer for 16 years growing up! I recently was a paid soccer coach and coached kids ages 2 to 9 for 2 years and thourghly enjoy keeping up with all things soccer!

On-Campus Activity

I am the president and founder of a club for future health professionals at UAB called HOSA. I enjoy the opportunity to use my creativity and problem solving in this way to connect with other like minded students and engage in volunteer opportunities around bham., I am a member of “Heart for the Homeless” that provides blood pressure screenings to those experiencing homelessness in the Birmingham area. This has been an impactful experience and one that I have truly enjoyed and look forward to.
