About Kassia

I have been taking care of children my whole life. I have 5 younger siblings that I took care of and tutored until I went to college. I started babysitting for other families around 12 as well as working on the church nursery and Sunday school. While in college, I worked in childcare and was educated in child development and education. In my current job at Alabama Public Television, I make online trainings on all topics of caring for children for childcare providers all over the state.

Off-Campus Involvement

I have graduated and work full time for APT. I love teaching adults, but I missed working directly with children, so I am excited to work directly with families through Wyndy.

On-Campus Activity

I spend a lot of my time learning about how to encourage development in children in various areas. I get to educate child care providers, and now use what I teach in practice.
