Hey! My name is Ta’Myia, but you can call me Myia. I’m a 20 year old senior majoring in psychology. I decided to pursue psychology because I would love to be a child psychologist. My main inspiration for this career path is that I want to be a child advocate for children in need. Sometimes they just need someone that will help them process their feelings. I’ve always been an academic scholar, which is the reason I stopped playing softball after high school. I wanted to be sure I could give my academics my undivided attention. I also have experience with type 1 diabetes and overseeing insulin injections. My niece was diagnosed 4 years ago so I am quite educated when it comes to type 1 diabetics.

Growing up I played soccer, basketball, and softball.I’m currently a track & field student-athlete at Samford University. I’d love the chance to get outside and be active with your kid but also enjoy inside games and crafts. As a previous elementary summer camp counselor, I have the most experience with children in 1st grade or higher.When I babysit, my priority is to create a safe and fun environment!

Currently available on most evenings for babysitting but can accommodate other times with early notice. I am a musician and am comfortable playing music with or for your child. I am also a great gamer and have my own Nintendo Switch but will let your child win so they can get better.

I’ve worked as a kindergarten and special education resource teacher for 2nd-4th. Currently I work as a nanny and am exploring textile skills. Comfortable with any age.
