Hello! My name is Wendi M.I was born and raised in the vibrant city of Kansas City, Missouri. I am currently a senior at Alabama A&M University, where I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.Upon graduation, I plan to remain in Huntsville, either to continue my education by obtaining a master’s degree or to begin my professional career in the criminal justice field. Huntsville has quickly become a place I hope to call home long-term, and eventually where I would like to raise a family.My passion for working with children has been shaped by a wide range of experiences. I have worked as a nanny for two families, caring for children from infancy to age 11. Additionally, I have gained valuable experience working at several daycare centers and as an internship as a 5th-grade English teacher through the Freedom Essentials summer program. This initiative focused on helping low-income students improve their reading skills and close academic gaps. Throughout my years working with children, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for fostering creativity and encouraging exploration. I enjoy leading engaging and stimulating activities such as painting, cooking, reading, and outdoor adventures. I believe it’s essential for children to explore different interests and develop new skills, and I take great pride in supporting them along that journey.

Hi. My name is Daisha. I am a senior Elementary Education Major. I have been working/around kids all my life. I love to read and write. I also love being outside. I started off babysitting my aunts and uncles kids. Then I became a camp counselor, from 2016 - 2019. Then when the pandemic happened, Fall of 2019, I became a tutor to help student through virtual learning. I also was an assistant teacher at a special education school.All the children, I have been around ages ranged from 6 months till 12 years old.

My name is Zakareya P, and I am a junior at Alabama A&M University. Every summer, I work at a summer camp, which I truly enjoy because of the fun and rewarding experience it brings.
